11 May Thank you, from the EMS Department
The Emergency Services Department is showing their appreciation for the generosity of both Circle 100 Club and the Men’s Guild 100, that have raised the funding to purchase in the last two years three Stair Chairs and a second Power Pro Lift and Stretcher. These purchases not only improve the speed and safety by which our patients are transferred into an ambulance during an emergency, they also make the jobs of our EMS crew easier and safer. The ladies of Circle 100 Club raised $18,500 and wrote a check to Wallowa Memorial Hospital today for that amount, to cover the entire cost of the new Power Pro Stretcher. The Men’s Guild 100 contributed their own funds of $10,100 towards the mechanical lift piece that holds the stretcher. Combined, this second Power Pro Lift & Stretcher means both of our ambulances are now ready to serve our patients in the best, fastest and safest way possible. On behalf of the Wallowa Valley Health Care Foundation, a huge thank you to both Circle 100 and Men’s Guild for your support!
