You raised $12,400 to purchase a new TMX treadmill for use in echocardiograms and other cardiovascular testing in our Respiratory Therapy department.
The Men’s Guild 100 was formed in 2015 and is a group of men who meet once a year, donate a check for $100, and decide what to do with the money they raise. In 2015, they raised $8,700 towards new surgical equipment for orthopedic surgery; in 2016, $9,600 was raised for three Stair Chairs to help emergency medical staff safely transport emergency patients up and downstairs; in 2017, they raised $10,900 for a mechanical lift for the EMS department to help transport patients into a waiting ambulance faster. In 2018, the men raised $10,500 for equipment and accessories for the ambulances to provide more care en route to the hospital.
Since 2015, the men of Wallowa County have joined together to raise money for new equipment to improve and expand health care services in Wallowa County. By giving $100 annually, between $12,000 and $15,000 has been raised each year.
