Did you know you can conveniently pay your medical bills online with your MyChart account. MyChart also allows you to make secure, one-time payments as a guest without creating a MyChart account.

FAQ – Medical Bills and Insurance Coverage

Can you provide an itemized bill?

Yes, just call the Business Office at 541-426-3111 and ask for a detailed bill.

We can bill all Medicare, Oregon Medicaid, and Commercial Plans.  We can also bill Healthshare plans who are in network with Multiplan, First Health or PHCS.

FAQ – Payment Plans and Negotiation

Can I set up a payment plan for my balance?

  • Is the payment plan interest-free? Yes, the balances paid directly to the hospital are interest-free.
  • What is the maximum length of time I have to pay off the bill? 36 months
  • What is the minimum monthly payment you will accept? Minimum monthly payment amounts are calculated based on your total account balance. To discuss your specific balance and explore available payment options, please contact our billing department at 541-426-3111.

Yes, we offer a 20% prompt pay discount if paid in full within 20 days of receiving your first statement.

Financial Assistance Information

Do You Qualify?  You may be eligible for free or discounted care based on your family size and income. This is true even if you have health insurance.  If you anticipate difficulty paying for your healthcare services, please speak with us.  We encourage you to ask for financial help before receiving treatment, whenever possible.

What Services Are Covered?

We offer financial assistance/charity care for emergency and other appropriate hospital-based services on a sliding fee scale.

  • Discounts range from 25% to 100%.

  • If you qualify for financial assistance/charity care, you will not be charged more than the amounts generally billed to insured patients.

How to Apply:  Any patient may apply for financial assistance/charity care by submitting a completed application and required supporting documents.

Do I qualify for financial assistance?

Eligibility for our Financial Assistance Program is determined by evaluating your household income and family size. You may qualify for a full or partial discount on your bill.

We understand that medical bills can be unexpected and stressful. You may be eligible for financial assistance even if you have insurance or a steady income.

  • Most recent Tax Return with all schedules; W-2
  • 3 months of Pay Stubs for all working members of the household or;
  • Social Security Statement; if applicable

You can apply at any time

The process takes up to 11 days once we have a complete application with all required documentation.
