Raising funds to help improve and expand health care services in Wallowa County

Providing quality health care in our rural and remote Wallowa County is a community effort, and your support makes all the difference. By giving to the Wallowa Valley Health Care Foundation, you directly contribute to improving and expanding the vital health services available right here at home.
Since 1991, your generosity has transformed health care in our region. You helped build our award-winning, state-of-the-art hospital, which opened in 2007 and has been instrumental in attracting talented physicians to our community.

Your Donations at Work

  • Advanced Technology: Investing in cutting-edge equipment like the Genius 3D Mammography System.
  • Emergency Access: Equipping our paramedics with new four-wheel drive ambulances to reach patients across the rugged terrain.
  • Enhanced Patient Care: Upgrading medical equipment in departments like physical therapy, surgery, imaging, lab, and nursing.
  • Compassionate Cancer Care: Providing more equipment, training, and comfort items for cancer patients to receive treatment close to their loved ones.

The Foundation hosts enjoyable annual fundraisers and events to support these crucial improvements. Explore our website to learn how you can contribute and make a tangible difference in the health and well-being of our community.
